Quinte Health has recognized the efforts of the pediatric team in providing care to the community.
The award was given to the group in recognition of their efforts in supporting the emergency department with care for children, continuing to operate over capacity, and working with regional partners to help solve problems the health system is facing with large numbers of respiratory illness.
Jennifer Faulkner, manager of the Quinte 7 Maternal Child Program, received the award on behalf of the entire team.
The board of directors praised Faulkner and her team for their efforts and said that they exemplify the organization’s values of “Stronger Together” and “We all make a difference.”
