We have an upset brewing in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as Illinois leads No. 3 Michigan 17-10 after three quarters. Michigan scored a touchdown on its first possession of the game but the offense has done little since. The Wolverines held a 7-3 lead at halftime and opened the second half with a field goal drive, but the Illini responded with two touchdowns to take the lead.
The biggest swing in the game might be the loss of star running back Blake Corum. The Heisman hopeful suffered a leg injury late in the first half, and while he made a brief reappearance in the third quarter, he is currently on the sidelines without a helmet.
Meanwhile, Illinois running back Chase Brown’s two touchdowns have given the Illini the lead as he’s tallied 121 yards rushing this afternoon. The Illini begin the final quarter with the ball at midfield looking to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the season.
