JOPLIN, Mo — Extreme Sports may look like a diving shop, but during the holidays it becomes so much more. During the holiday season — it becomes a home base for “Christmas for Kids” which helps bring holiday cheer to families in need. Even before Thanksgiving — Santa’s helpers are thinking about how to bring a little holiday cheer. Christmas for Kids’ goal is to help families enjoy Christmas despite what is in their pockets. Santa’s helpers want to remind you that not every family out there is able to afford Christmas presents. How can you help? KOAM’s Toybox is underway! You can make a monetary donation on our website and we do the shopping for you or you can drop off a toy donation to our studio or one of many dropoff locations. Last Toybox telethon is December 13th during our noon, five, and six shows on KOAM.
