Sasha Chatz, of Beverly, will take part in the Joffrey Ballet performances of “The Nutcracker” at the Civic Opera House, Dec. 3 to 27. Chatz will perform in the roles of Ragamuffin and child/rat. An accomplished dancer at Dance Gallery Chicago, 10628 S. Western Ave., Chatz started studying there when she was 3 years old. She attends dance classes in modern, jazz, ballet, tap and hip-hop, and she is a familiar sight at Dance Gallery throughout the week. Chatz, 10, is a student at St. Barnabas School.
